Day 1 on the bike is in the books...

Well let's start off with a Happy 4th America. You'd never know it here in Turkey.
306km on my tush and I have finally arrived at the first destination, Cirali. Cirali is a small beach town near Olympos. Plenty more coastal roads this afternoon after lunch, a beach at literally every turn...too bad I couldn't stop and go for a dip today. As it was, I felt like I was running late. Turns out with all the stops and a couple of wrong turns...it took me 9 hours to do the 306km. It's a full day for sure.
I was greeted merrily at the Sina Peace Pension. This place could double as an animal farm, as there must be 30 kittens and cats on the premise, a talking parrot, a dog named after the local beer. The accommodations here are modest for sure, but I've met some nice people that are staying here, and a home cooked dinner and breakfast is included!
Let's see where the nights activities lead too...hopefully not too much trouble as I've got to be on the road early tomorrow...another 280km to Pamukkale.
