This isn't the Magic Kingdom kids, this is a Muslim kingdom.
And in an Islamic country, there are Mosques. And they are plentiful.
Nearly everyone has this turret attached to them. Now it may look like a fairy tale castle turret, but I can assure you friends, this thing is all business. I have theories that they serve as a lookout tower. Lookout tower for what you may ask? For the Christians coming for the 5th Crusade for the Holy Land of course. And in modern times they've equipped them with a PA loudspeaker system. They use this to broadcast prayers to anyone within earshot. And mounted this high, and with little other ambient noise in rural Turkey, EVERYONE is within earshot. It's cool with me though, they do their thing, and I just keep going on with mine. I guess its not as traditional as converting wafers and wine into the body and blood, but.....
