Istanbul, Constantinople, Byzamtium - Whatever....
The main reason for heading to Turkey in the first place, is to go to Istanbul.
A friend of mine (Eric Sauma) is getting married in Istanbul to a lovely Turkish girl.
Me (and a handful of friends) are taking a shot in the dark that we will in fact be invited to the wedding (invitations may or may not come..) and have booked the trip.
Initial plans are as follow:
Friday - July 8th - Arrive Istanbul
Saturday - July 9th - Explore Istanbul
Sunday - July 10th - Attend Sauma wedding at Ciragan Palace
Monday - July 11th - Recover from middle eastern hangover, explore Istanbul, Follow up BBQ to Wedding? (again the details may or may not be in the wedding invitation that we may or may not receive...)
Tuesday - July 12th - Fly back to New York
