The F800 was shiny and fully farkled for me this morning at 0930. Robert picked me up at my hotel and we were off to his shop. After unpacking and reloading my gear to the boxes, some nice discussion about the route, and a few warnings re Turkish motorists, I was ready to head off!!
First stop was Patara (photo). An archaeological site with a very nice beach. I hung out on the beach for a short while, but in my jeans and riding boots, its not too comfortable to be staying still for too long.
Back on the road, another 20km to Kalkan. Another small port/beach town. Nice spot to stop and author this blog, but I've got to keep moving.
Some coastal road photos for your enjoyment/envy as well.
Next stop is Kas, for a sitdown lunch and get out of the heat for a few minutes.
